Welcome to the Digital Standards Platform

The Digital Standards Platform (DSP) is the official national digital gateway for the acquisition, subscription and digital access to Nigerian Industrial Standards (NIS) and other authorised standards publications.

The platform supports the strategic collaboration between the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) and the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) to institutionalise standards-based public procurement in Nigeria. It provides procuring entities, contractors, consultants and other procurement stakeholders with a means to subscribe to and obtain authorised digital access to applicable Nigerian Industrial Standards and international standards for the preparation of technical specifications, procurement planning, bid evaluation, contract administration and verification of technical compliance. This initiative further supports the implementation of the Federal Government's Nigeria First Policy by promoting the consistent application of Nigerian Industrial Standards throughout the public procurement cycle.

The Platform also serves as Nigeria's authoritative digital repository for standards, providing secure, reliable and timely access to standards and related technical information.
